Camera Angles From a Movie

Review of camera angles from Enola Holmes (2020)  produced by Mary Parent           I chose this movie to portray the camera angles because adventure and mystery typed of  movies are one of my most favorite, they create a lot of suspense and eagerness. Also, they tend to have plenty different camera angles associated with different scenes. This movie is about a girl, Enola Holmes sister, who goes on a quest to find her missing mother with different clues that she left for her. I haven't read the book, but I think it will be filled with actions and adventures. After all she is Sherlock Holmes sister.            The first angle that I chose is an establishing shot. It can be seen in the beginning of the movie as Enola gives a little bet of background story. It sets the mood and shows the setting for the movie. Beginning to Film

 This week I started filming the opening scenes for the movie. I found a beautiful lake near my house which was the perfect spot for the opening shot. I came to the place during sunset for the shot to capture the colorful sun as well. I did not have much time to film during this week, so I only got a couple of shots done. Also, looking over, my initial storyboard, I realized that I did not have many props to complete it, and my parents were extremely busy so some of the shots would be difficult to execute by myself. Editing week 2

                                       I decided to put the title of the video at the end because it was only the opening and I used the font Ravie which is fancy, bold, and it looks really pleasant. I also use the font Poor Richard for context clues during the video; it looks good and it is legible.  I slowed down certain shots that were a little shorts, especially I where I had writing over it in order to give the viewers time to read it, and I sped up other shots that I filmed in slow motion but ended up being too long. Towards the end, I use the wipe transitions in between the shots to give it a little sequence and a cool effect. I kept the beginning, where the credits are displayed with the original audio.
