How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? During the opening sequences of the film the Marvel studio is displayed and after the opening scene the title of the movie is shown. What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? The opening shows clips from many different marvel movies followed by the title Marvel studio. Also, the first scene shows a cave filled with fire and Thor is chained in a cage talking to a skeleton which shows that he has been kept captive for a while. Then, after talking to Surtur he ends up fighting him and his "pet" dragon. What connotations do the images carry? The images carry the connotation of fear, yet excitement, and thrills which implies that the movie will be filled with action and continuous high energy. How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Three companies names are displayed first including the media production, pictures, and production company. Then it shows the Netflix title, some important information, followed by the director, then the main actress's name. What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? The first opening doesn't contain much images because it only shows the titles in a complete black background. Then the movie starts by showing mass population in the world, followed by images of catastrophes that have happened already, such as dust storms, and hurricanes. In addition, videos of baby siblings are shown followed by the president talking. What connotations do the images carry? The images carry a connotation of overwhelm and somewhat fear that imply that the movie might be full of suspense and actions.
