Initial Storyboard

Explanation: I created it this story because I wanted it to be a mystery and have surprise factor in it that is only revealed to the audience. As of right now, the film will open with a video of the sky were the credits will be displayed, along with calm music. Then it will slowly zoom to a close up shot of a watch, which is the main object. It will transition to an establishing shot of a city setting, and a fast-beat music/song will start playing. Next will be a shot of a poster stating that the police is undergoing a search for jewel thief. After, a full shot of the man taking off the watch will be displayed, followed by a cameo shot of him going to sleep. The next morning, the man will wake up to find the watch missing, and a choker shot will emphasize his shocked expression. Finally, the camera will cut to a close up shot of the watch, then zooming out to from a pile of jewelry and showing the face of the theft, which is a famous person in the city. Also, the theft will be shown

Movie Opener Brainstorming & Research

Rise- I love the opening and all its elements, the music, the lighting, and the edit with the equipment dropping on the floor, as well as all the shots when he was playing soccer. It was well done, but I was confused on what the film is about.  Offline- The music throughout was nice, and I like the transitions from the flashback shots to her current situation.  Dear Lover- I like the calm music as well as the nature shots for the opening. I thought the storyline was well written and interesting. The voice over and the overall production was nice. Dare to Thrill- I don't like the writing font for the credits in the beginning because it was sort of hard to read. The music is a little too loud because I can't hear what they are saying. The car shots were nice. It left me confused, so I think there should have been more context. Always watching- The sound is nice, and it gave me and unsettling feeling which corresponds to the main idea of the film. I like the shot switching between

Semester Exam - Film Analyses of Black Mirror (season3, episode 4, San Junipero)

There are many film elements incorporated in the show "Black Mirror", season 3, episode 4, San Junipero that makes it appealing and interesting to the audience. The first scene shows an establishing shot of a city to inform the viewers where the episode is taking place. The main character, Yorkie is introduced with a dolly shot of her walking on the sidewalk very calmly comparing to the pace of the other people around. Later, A medium shot introduces Kelly and Wes, followed by a full shot of them walking into a club, then Yorkie follows them. There is a contrast editing technique between the scene in the streets and inside the club. The street is calm comparing to the club, which is loud, has a lot of people inside. It also appears to have a shallow space since everyone are really close together. Furthermore, a close-up shot is shown of the guy with the glasses to further depict his emotions of panic and frustration, which hint that his conversation with Yorkie did not go t
